Directions to the Sahara Library

1. The Sahara branch of the Clark County Library is on the northeast corner of Sahara Ave. and S. Grand Canyon Dr. in Las Vegas, NV.

2. The building has a unique modern architecture and is shared by an art museum. The art museum, seen from from Sahara Ave., is topped with an art-deco rectangle.

5. The parking lot is entered from S. Grand Canyon Dr.  Parking is free. There are plenty of handicap parking slots, but sometimes not enough regular parking, so you may want to arrive early.

6. Enter the building and turn left to enter the library.

From US 95:

• Take US 95 to Summerlin Parkway (west).

• Exit at Rampart and turn left at off ramp (south).

• Proceed past Alta and past Charleston. Rampart turns into Fort Apache (just to confuse us).

• Turn right (west) at Sahara.

• Turn right (north) at Grand Canyon.

• Make the next right into the parking lot.

From Summerlin Parkway (east or west bound):

• Exit at Rampart. West bound travelers turn left at the off ramp (south). East bound travelers turn right at the off ramp (north)

• Proceed past Alta and past Charleston. Rampart turns into Fort Apache (just to confuse us).

• Turn right (west) on Sahara.

• Turn right (north) on  Grand Canyon.

• Make the next right into the parking lot.

From the Westbound 215 (Woodbury Beltway):

• Exit at eastbound Flamingo.

• Turn left at Fort Apache.

• Turn left (west) at Sahara.

• Turn right (north) on Grand Canyon.

• Make the next right into the parking lot.

From Westbound Sahara Ave:

• Proceed west on Sahara past Fort Apache.

• Turn right (north) at Grand Canyon.

• Make the next right into the parking lot.
