Mission StatementThe Blue Star Mothers of Southern Nevada is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that supports military families, primarily our sons and daughters who are either currently in the military, or have served in the past. Each Blue Star Banner, hanging in the windows of homes across the country, represents a son or daughter, sometimes more than one, who is serving their country. The blue star at the center of the banner signifies their hope that their child will return safely, and for their son's or daughter's pride in their service.
