How to Join

Who can join?

There are two classes of membership: full and associate.

1) Full Member: A mother, stepmother or legal custodian (since the child was 13-years-old) who has a son or daughter who is serving in, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States, may join as a full member. Armed Forces include the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, Reserve Units, and the Merchant Marines.

2) Blue Star Associates: A spouse, sister, brother, grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, or friend of someone who is serving, or has been honorably discharged from the Armed Forces of the United States. Associate membership needs a recommendation from a full member in good standing.

3) Blue Star Dads (associate member): Dads are special associate members. Blue Star Dads pins are available. A Blue Star Dad is a father, stepfather or legal custodian (since the child was 13-years-old) who has a son or daughter who is serving in, or has been honorably discharged from, the Armed Forces of the United States. Dads we need you!!

How do I join?

Applying: There are several ways to join. Call 702-677-0706 for information. To get an application, go on line to www.bluestarmothers.org to download an application or fill out an online application. Go to ' Join Now,' then enter all of your information, and it will put you into the database as ‘pending,’ and a copy of your e-receipt will go to our chapter president. If you already have a hard copy, please fill it out, and send it to the address below or bring it to the next meeting.

Dues and Pins: Dues for Blue Star Mothers membership is $20.00 a year. Associate membership is free. You can order Blue Star Mothers pins, Associate pins, and/or Blue Star Dads pins which are $10.00 plus tax, shipping and handling. Please note which one(s) you are ordering with your application.
